Two Years Mission Work In Europe: Just Before the World War 1912-14 is basically a journal of Frank Bartleman's mission work throughout Europe. Included in his accounts are how the travels impacted his own family, such as their reactions to various climates and cultures. The table of contents lists Holland, Norway, Finland, France, Russia, and Switzerland, among others, as countries where Bartleman and his family brought the Gospel. God moments are also chronicled. For example, his wife found a coin on the floor of their boat just when the family needed to cover expenses. While the title indicates events before the war, the final chapters of the book follow the family returning home during the early part of the war. The reader will clearly see the hand of God on Bartleman and his family.
