Biography

William Henry Bennett was born in 1855. His home country was England. Upon completion of his formal education, Bennett spent his career as an Old Testament Professor at two of London's colleges. He also had a fellowship at Cambridge. He found time to lecture at Firth College in Hebrew. Bennett authored many books on a variety of topics. His commentaries on the second half of Jeremiah and the books of Chronicles are included in the Expositor's Bible. He also produced works on the general epistles and Genesis. According to WorldCat's Identities (Online Computer Library Center), Bennett is responsible for"93 works in 509 publications in 3 languages." Bennett died in 1920, but his works are a wonderful legacy.
