New Testament, An American Translation
by Anonymous (Bible)
Summary
The New Testament An American Translation (1926) was developed by Edgar J. Goodspeed. His desire was to have the Greek translated into easily read English while keeping the text as bold and vigorous as it was when the New Testament was originally written. Goodspeed followed the example of Paul to speak clearly so that the message of the covenant is not only heard but understood. This is a red-letter edition (all of Christ's words are printed in red) of the New Testament.
