Septuagint LXX: Greek and English [English only]

Septuagint Version of the Old Testament with an English Translation by Sir Lancelot Brenton is as its title describes. The Septuagint is the Greek translation of the Hebrew Old Testament, including the apocryphal books such as Tobit, Wisdom of Sirach, and Judith. The Roman numerals LXX (70) often identify the Septuagint for the seventy scribes who translated the Hebrew text into Greek. Brenton's English translation, published in 1870, has been the standard for several decades. This is the English version only.
